I would talk to your FS about it if possible. It'd be pretty unlucky to have things happen on those days. Did you have just one follie? Are you starting at the same dose and slowly increasing? With DS, I started at 75, then upped to 92, and I ended up injecting for 14 days and had 2 mature follicles. This time they started me at 92, then upped to 100. Cycle 1, I injected for 12 days and had one follicle. Cycles 2 and 3 I was on a dose of 100 right the way through and I injected for 10 days. Remember with the trigger, they usually make you have it when your follicle/s s at around 19-21mm, so you shouldn't ovulate til maybe 36-48hrs later. Timing is everything!!! So tricky!

Chunkyducks - How's the new job going?? Hopefully great?! Did you get a good plan of attack from your hubby's doctor? Sounds like you have heaps going on also I think fertility specialists choose what sort of fertility help to try first depending on what challenges you're up against....like if you have male fertility problems also, just giving the female Clomid may not be the best option without the help of IUI perhaps? My hubby outgrew his asthma at about 13-16 years old so....hopefully my DD outgrows hers waaaaay before then!

Lemonpancakes - How are you going Hun, did the Clomid do its job and kick-start your body into producing the elusive egg?? I hope you've had some luck and are waiting it out in the TWW

Proudmamma - Whoa, a whole month?! That sounds awful What did your clinic have to say about this recent AF? I think that's ridiculous that they can't help you out at all....are you on Metformin? Surely there has to be some way to help your PCOS symptoms which would probably therefore help you drop those stubborn PCOS kilo's? BTW, I was wrong about how long I had to take Provera....it was and is this time too - 10 days.

Hoping - Huuugs from a fellow asthma mummy, it's bloody tough going! My DD picks up any virus in a 100 mile radius which immediately brings on bronchialitis and then asthma It comes on sooo quick too! Starting from her first sneeze or sniffle, her "day 3" is always the worst of her wheezing and needing to be on high-flow oxygen therapy with 6 puffs of ventolin (or that face-mask continual flow one when shes really bad) every 20 mins and then slowly increasing the time between the sets of puffs. From "day 4" she starts her recovery and then about 6/7 days later she is all recovered and then we hear a dreaded sneeze from the next virus/cold starting! And round and round we go!!! :-/ ED doctors and hospital Paediatricians originally told us that they couldn't call what she had "asthma" until she was two years old but several hospital stays later they gave up and just now openly called it asthma

Violet - Soooo happy for you! You've given me hope that with a bit of cycle-tweeking, I'll get there too Just keep spreading that baby-dust in this thread though ok? xoxo

Heyside - yeah, see what your fertility clinic suggests......I'm sure they would've had to work around this problem with probably several past patients of theirs...they'll get it sorted for sure. As Violet said, the ideal follie size for the trigger is around that 20mm size but, if it was getting close to where it seemed like you were going to be ready to trigger right on when your hubby was away, maybe they could trigger you slightly early? I'm pretty sure the minimum size for ovulation is about 16mm?? Hey, if my body behaves nicely to all this Provera, I think we will be cycle buddies! Yay! SO much better than cycling on my own

AFM - I stop taking Provera on Saturday and then hopefully AF rears her ugly head so I can get this next cycle started! Starting on a 62.5 dosage of FSH injections but my FS agreed to up my dose to 75 if nothing much has happened by my first blood test which is usually on either CD9 or 10. Urgh, I shouldn't complain coz I want it to come but, I feel like I'm gearing up to have one heck of an AF....feeling super bloated and a weeee bit hormonal with every little thing (at work especially) getting under my skin! :-/

I'm still not sure if I'm liking the job. I did a day shift for the for5st time today and it's just a bit all over the shop. The roster changes with little warning and I hate not knowing what's coming for the week. I'm not sure I'll get my 15 hours in either. Just wait and see what happens I suppose.

DH and I have a joint appointment on Monday. With any luck something will get sorted out. He saw the pain specialist today but I forgot to ask him about the testosterone injections. I know they want to do a SA so we'll get that done and work out a plan of attack from there. DH actually asked to go on anti-depressants last time and it had me worried because it affects his libido majorly. Thankfully he decided to stop them a few days in because he thought the slight assistance with the pain meds wasn't worth putting TTC on hold for.

I was researching FSs in the area and found there is only the one. I hate seeing male Drs for this sort of thing but I'm going to have to suck it up unless I want to travel to Brisbane all the time. Right now my biggest concern is a cyst under my arm that seems to have turned nasty. There is now a lump the size of a 50c piece behind it. I know its fluid but it still needs to get sorted. Might see if I can move my appointment forward to deal with while I know I'm not rostered on. I'm looking at going back on the metformin too. See if it helps any.

Sorry about the big me me me post.

Hope everyone else is doing well.

@laydeedee they won't even admit us here just another reason why I want to move to Perth! I'm so sick of the health system here he just screamed bloody murder when I tried to give him ventolin!
He is the same with bronchiolitis but I think i always take him in too early so they say its nothing.....

Well today is mg with my original group of awful women...... It's at my place and I knew most of them wouldn't want to come makes me so much happier that I've joined an awesome group!

Thanks for all your advice everyone, have decided to ask about maybe staying on the pill for an extra two weeks to delay cycle, not sure if that is all possible (I use to do it by myself all the time but don't want my hormones to be sent out of wack anymore than they already are), I have sent an e-mail to ask for advice, tried to ring earlier but the nurse I have been speaking to is away today. Hopefully this will just delay my cycle to fit in better time wise, will try to think of another way around this If I have to stay on pill for another whole month, can't wait any longer lol!

Violethope - when I was successful with injections last time I started on a dose of 75 which was then increased to 100 and finally 125, they are going to start on the same dose this time and see what happens, I had two follies at the time which were triggered but we only caught the one.

Ladydee - Would be nice to be cycle buddies, hopefully the nurse has some other ideas about my cycle so we can start next week as planned.

Chunkydunks - Good luck with the appointment on Monday and hope things settle down in your job.

Hoping - sorry to hear you have been part of a group of awful women (is that an infertility group you meet in person?) Sounds like it is stress you could do without

Ladydee thanks so much for asking! I feel rude I haven't come here and written personals, I will when I'm back on my computer.

So today is Day 28 and I'm getting BFN wee tests, so I think this 7th clomid cycle hasn't worked.

On to the Gonal F injections then! Only thing is we're going overseas when I'll be on about day 18 (if I get AF in next few days), so I'm not sure if I should start the injections this cycle or wait tol after our holiday.

FS is starting me on 37.5 dose of Gonal F, so if that's not working and I need to so injections past day 18 that might not work out well if I'm overseas and can't be monitored by my FS.

I'm just waiting to hear back from her receptionist as to what I should do, but I'm thinking I'll skip this month and relax on our holiday. Maybe I'll be one of those women who try for a year then get pregnant naturally on holiday? (Ha! If only).

Back soon for personals! Big congrats to Violet!!!

Congrats again to you violethope. Good to hear it's all official now.

Sorry I've been a bit mia in this thread. Didn't have a good appt with the doc last week. Feeling down about it. Will update soon when I can properly reply. My son had been sick and hanging off me for a week now
