Sorry this is bit heavy. I'm tired, had to wake up early and then spent the day petrified I'd bleed through my clothes. Then the way my night went with my husband

Hopefully things will look beget in the morning

How is everyone? Quiet in here lately!

Heyside, did your dr ever call back? Did AF arrive? Hope you're going ok. Was thinking you might be joining me in FSH land, but hopefully you don't have to, fingers still crossed for the letrozole.

ProudMumma34, how are you? Feeling any better? I hope AF has slowed for you now. Do you have a plan for the next cycle? Hopefully your scan results show that things are not as bad as you thought they may be.

Sarahlou81, hope Mexico is amazing!! So envious!

Hope everyone else is traveling well.

AFM, I'm on CD12. Had a scan and BT yesterday, 2 follicles are showing dominance, hopefully they'll be ready for O by early - mid next week. I'm happy about it, I wanted 2 because that's what I had with DS, but my last two cycles I've only had 1. So hopefully I'll have twice the chance of catching an egg this time!

Hopefully 2 eggs will give you a chance of twins violet hope sounds like ur cycle is on track.

Cycle is still quite heavy. Alot of clots. Night time is the worst as I wake up having leaked right through. I have to lsy down towels underneath me and sleep that way then straight to the shower. Cramps have died down so I'm hoping thst means it'll die down soon. I'm seeing my gp on tuesday so im hoping something can be done.

Because of my crazy bleeding I wonder what will happen with my cycle...will I be able to have a normal one??

Does provera give you a heavier period?

How horrible for you! I've only ever taken provera for 5 days. I though it worked by quickly building a lining in you uterus, then making it contract to shed that lining. You took it for a while, didn't you? I've never heard of that. I would think it caused a large amount of blood to clot, hence it is being shed heavily. I'm also unsure of how the scan would be clear with such loss going on. Mind you, I am NO dr, so really only going off my own experiences. I'm sure your dr knows what he/she is doing. I hope you get some answers soon!

I'll find out on 15th August! It is a long time. I don't know anything about provera. Only took it once many years ago. Lately I've heen so absent minded. I should have ask why for 21 days. What you said sounds logical violetnhope...but I hope the duration isn't why. Will be interesting to see doc's response.

ProudMumma - sounds like you have been going through a lot over the last week, hope af calms down for you, I agree with violethope on here theory as to all the bleeding due to the length of time you have taken provera. Hopefully you get some answers soon from your scan results.

Violethope - 2 follies sounds like great news, I had two on my cycle trying for DD and was told there was going to be a risk of twins but we only caught one of the eggs, all sounding positive. remind me will you have a trigger shot or do you ovulate naturally?

AFM - I have been awol for the last week as we have just enjoyed a week away which was nice (one of the reasons we were also happy to try letrozole initially too). I never heard from by dctr but had an appointment today and was not surprised to hear that I hadn't ovulated. I also received the results from my AMH test which showed I have a high egg reserve. I expected this as I think its usual with PCOS but apparently its very high as in over 100 which he said means we are not in a rush to conceive but it will probably be very hard for me to conceive (which we kind of knew anyway). So it has been decided I will move onto FSH injections again with the dctrs linked fertility clinic which I used last time. Luckily I managed to get an appointment for tomorrow so can get things started quickly. Looks like I am on the journey with you violethope, although hopefully this is your cycle. He wanted me to start on the pill to rest my ovaries slightly before starting the injections but don't think he thought I would get in so soon. I had another blood test today to get an update on hormones and have to ring for results tomorrow.

Wow how wonderful to get an appointment so quickly heyside. Best of luck.

Proud mumma, I hope af has settled down by now.

Violethope. I really hope this is you time. 2 follies is awesome news.

    Hope everyone is well.

We're still on a break here. Af arrived roughly on time last week and has been fairly normal. I'm back to losing weight again so with any luck that will help things if we can start ttc again soon. Dh still hasn't gotten a referral to the neurologist but we have found one in Brissy thay has good reviews so with any luck he'll be having the spinal brace put in within the next 6 months. Could be a lot longer though because we have to go public. We've all got a cold at the moment so I was off work today and more than liekly tomorrow too. Much needed r and r though.

Heyside, what a bummer about the letrozole, but hey, at least you gave it a try. Awesome to get an appointment so soon, all the waiting can be frustrating! I hope you get lucky with FSH straight away! Also good news about your egg reserves. Are you under 30? I've been feeling extra pressure since turning 30 (in May) because the statistics start looking grim for future pregnancies.

I had the trigger this arvo. My scan this morning showed only 1 mature follicle, the other stopped growing at around 12mm. But 1 is enough. It was 20mm and my lining looked great. Oestrogen levels showed I will probably O without trigger in the next 24hrs, but they have me do it anyway, just in case. So now we BD. I'll have a BT on Saturday to make sure I ovulated. Then two pregnyl boosters and waiting... I hope this is my cycle!!

    Hey Chunkydunks, feel better soon

Chunkydunks - Nice to see you checking in here still, great that you have an action plan to get you on your way. Hope you feel better soon, enjoy the r and r.

Violethope - All sounding great for your follie, I have a good feeling for you this cycle , sounds like everything is going to plan.

Thanks girls, I am really happy to get an appointment so soon and worked well as Dh will be off work tomorrow so no need to work everything around when he can get out of work. I am getting old now violet hope (lol) just turned 33 so was worried about the egg reserve but at least that is one positive I can look at, just a shame I am holding on to them so tightly lol!
