I can't keep up with how my pcos affects me. I get crazy hair growth. Waxing is s permanent part of my life

I reckon I was pregnant last year but baby didn't develop. Had an ultrasound once to check my ovaries and an empty sac was found. Didn't even think to all what that meant but the sonographer kept asking if there was any chance that I could of been pregnant in the 2 months before.

Hey guys just a question. The instructions on my provera say to take it day 1 to 21 if my cycle. ..but there are 30 tablets??? Chemist said if my scan is booked on 1st august I should take them today? I don't get it? It's hard to speak to the doctor cause it was through a public clinic at hospital

ProudMumma - Its very difficult to take Provera to fit in with scan that is already booked. It is usually taken for 7 days so only 7 tablets needed, you then have to wait for af to turn up which can be anything from 2-14 days after you stop taking the pills. I took my last pill on Sunday and af has turned up this morning so now I am on cycle day 1. Once af turns up a blood test is usually planned for cycle day 21 (after expected day of ovulation) to see if you have ovulated. I am thinking if your FS wants to do a scan it will be before ovulation to see if you have any follicles developing. Can you re-arrange scan to fit in with cycle?? Sorry I am not much help.

afm - Cycle day 1 for me today so can finally get started on a letrozole cycle, I am going for a blood test later today to check my egg supply (think I am quite nervous about those results).

Not sure ProudMumma, when I have taken provera, it has been a bit unpredictable as far as when AF will turn up. I wonder if the clinic could ask a dr to call you if you let them know your concerns? Sounds confusing!

Heyside - yay for CD 1! Good luck for the blood results, fingers crossed for you. Will your cycle be monitored, or just test post O?

AFM, CD 11 today, day 6 of FSH, had bloods this morning and all is on track. Scan and bloods on Friday. Keeping my fingers crossed for one big fat follicle!

    Hello ladies.

Heyside - awesome! Good luck with this cycle.

Violet - that's all sounding promising. Best of luck.

I'm confused with my days. I started spotting on Saturday but I've read somewhere that you don't count it as cd1 until you get the first proper flow. If thats the case I'm on cd3. Otherwise it's cd5.

Taking provera for me wasn't for ovulation at all. It was to check my endometrial lining because of all my irregular bleeding. The clinic is on tomorrow so I'll call and see. I'm not going to start it till I speak to the doc

    Hi ladies,
Have been feeling really off of a night time - like ms (but without a baby - did a hpt just to make sure). Nauseous with a crampy tummy. Fine most of the day and it comes on of a night time. On 3rd day of clomid at the moment - I think I had a small bout of this last month too. Has anyone else had similar? I can't remember it happening before last month, but this month is so much worse. Same dose and it's half what I used to take when TTC#1.
