Wow ProudMumma34, that's depressing! Thanks for the info, but I'm choosing to be positive, I don't think it's productive for me to be thinking about worst case scenarios right now.

Thanks Heyside, we dtd the day before and the day after O (we think, it may have been the day of) but this time we will try every day around O and including O. My follicle was at 24mm before I had my trigger, I'm wondering if it was left a bit late. Last time my trigger was at 21mm. It was delayed this time because my scan was due on a Sunday before the public holiday. All I can do is keep trying and hoping!

Don't you just hate that when scans and tests are due on holidays and sundays, sometimes it can mix up results completely. Hopefully this cycle will be planned a dream for you Violethope and you will catch your egg.

So it would seem that with all the distactions at work and my bosses coming home that I've ignored the fact that af is nearly a week late. I feel like it's on the way though but would love it if I've got a suprise bfp. I can only dream

    You going to test?!?

Well my appt went as I expected. Was told that because of my weight my estrogen levels would be high. She couldn't explain all the bleeding. Went out and discussed with her senior... seemed like a registrar. Anyways they want to give me provera and fo a d21 ultrasound to see what's happening with my endometrial lining. Does that mean that I start provera exactly 21 days before? I told her that provera doesn't always work straight away for me but she said to do the ultrasound on d21 if I'm bleeding or not.

I'm thinking I might get one tomorrow afternoon if af hasn't shown up by then. I'm always skeptical because it has been up to 2 weeks late before.

What is the provera? I'm a little naive with all this stuff. I have been too scared to look too far into the assisted root.

ProudMumma34 - How frustrating that she didn't have an answer for all the bleeding. I have heard that provera can be used to control bleeding, hopefully it will work for you and set your cycles working again. Not sure how you will organise ultrasound if it doesn't work as you won't be able to work out CD21. I would start provera now and hopefully af will arrive and you will know when CD1 is - fingers crossed.

Chunkydunks - Provera is a progesterone tablet that is usually taken for around 7 days, once you stop taking the tablets progesterone levels drop and af should arrive to start a new cycle. I am currently on fourth day of provera so looking forward to next week when af should arrive (funny how I will be getting excited over af when next month I won't want to see it lol!) and I can begin my treatment of Letrozole. Hope af stays away for you this month and you can test soon .

I tested and no luck. I'm guessing it's just af being a *****. I expected no less but DH admitted that he was quite disappointed this time. Usually he has to console me but I was actually pretty good about it.

Hope evrtykne esle is doing well and enjoy your weekend.

Sorry to hear that chunkydunks. It is easier to deal with when you don't expect it. I hope this year is your year.

With provera how long after u stop taking it does af start? The doc booked in an ultrasound on 1st August for me. And that has to be d21.
