Next thing I know a lady is yelling "the trolley" my trolley with ds3 sitting in the baby seat was rolling down the slope and tipped of the edge of the footpath on to the road. His little head hit hard on it's side. I just spent 4 hours at the hospital with him under observation and he is ok but I feel rotten about it. I always take him out before i unlock the car. So why did I leave him in there today.
So glad he is okay. Mummy guilt is awful but will start to fade with time - I tripped and dropped my DD onto concrete when she was a few months old and although she was okay the guilt was terrible initially. Give your LO lots of cuddles tonight - sounds like you both need them.

Oh man.. Going to have another day like this are we DD? Perfect!

I am sorry I made the mistake of not specifying your doctors app was this afternoon, not straight after dropping dad to work.

i know the melt down that commenced as we turned into our street is totally my fault, and the tears/whinging about everything afterwards is my fault too.

I am sorry I forget to lay everything on the table and inform you of every step were going to take.

I feel like I'm walking on egg shells trying to not set you off.

I'm sorry I can't build marble towers like dad, or that you can't build them yourself yet, I'm sorry I can't understand you when your crying, I'm sorry you can't dress/undress yourself yet, and that you don't have the patience to try.

I hope Winnie the poo can pre-occupy you momentarily, because mummy needs 5 minutes to breath & it's only 9am *sigh*
