holy cow kel!!! 5 months!!! where is this year going??
good to hear she is still a dream baby.
Cooper and I seem to have found a bit of a groove with feeding, settling and sleeping. Hope I can maintain it.
I was supposed to go home today, but due to a few fevers the other night they ran some tests and took an xray and all that showed up was high white cell count in my urine. Still awaiting further results so I have to stay in hospital again tonight.
I have been so upset today. I never get to see my mum on mothers day. and she is here this year. and i was made to stay in hospital. Also my girls were upset. they had been so looking forwsrd to me going home.
Hubby was so good to me. he swiped the credit card for foxtel for the night and went and bought me some snacks as well. He is so sweet. So bub is settled and I am off to wstch some telly.
I will catch up on more when i get home.
Mary i am pretty keen to see an updated pic of Jayden. He must be getting bigger!!

Dear MrErin. my heart is with you at this moment. It is so hard after all the expectations and the hard rollercaster of previous cycles. But as you said, you know you can get pregnant and next time it will happen. Try to find some positives, I know it is easier said than done... I had a couple of biochemical pregnancies and at times it was very difficult to believe it would be possible for me.
I think the girls in this thread are all genuine examples that it is possible.
Take care. We are all here to support you.
    XO

Hi ladies, well my ivf cycle is over just like that. I am still in shock.... I went in for my blood and scans today and was due to have intralipd today too but that was cancelled. I can't believe after taking all my pre-natel vitamins, DHEA and Meletonin for the last 4-5 months I have gone backwards. The scan only showed 2 follicles as the rest were too small. I was given the option to go ahead with only 2 follicles or cancel and after speaking to my nurse, FS and DH I decided to cancel it. I know you only need one egg but after my last 2 cycles resulted in 0 fertilization out of 5 eggs my chances of even getting an egg this time is slim.
I have not come to this decision lightly and very upset but I have to face the facts IVF is not working for me. We will still try naturally and hey we might have a little miracle one day. But this has taken a toll on my body and mind over the last 3 years and you come to a point when you have to ask yourself when does it end....

Thank you all for all your support over the last few months, and for all your advice. It has helped speaking to other women who can relate to what I am going through.

    Take care everyone

    Hope 13

Oh Hope13 I am so so sorry. I wish there was something I could say that would make it better but there just isn't.

This journey is such a hard one and what's worse is that the people on it are so wonderful and deserving.

I hope you find happiness in a break from the stresses of IVF and I hope that you have success with a natural BFP.

Even though our BFP did not last...I never dreamed that a natural BFP was even possible so I hope the same thing can happen for you. (but with a happier ending obviously)

    Look after yourself x

Hi MrsErinR, thank you for your kind words. How are you doing? I know you are having a tough time at the moment too so thank you for taking the time to send me a lovely message. I really appreciate that kind gesture.

I still hold hope that we can fall pregnant natuarally but I will definitely not be doing another cycle. Maybe a holiday or just a break from thinking about babies will relax us and let things flow naturally.

Hopefully in a few months we will be both be pregnant and join in the joy of motherhood.

    Have a lovely night x

Erin & Hope, I am thinking of you both. I believe IVF is one of the hardest things you can go through. Losing a pregnancy, I can't even imagine.
It seems that the most lovely people have trouble getting pregnant.
Just no that we are all hear for you.
My twin sister is also trying to get pregnant. She has done 2 full cycles and has a cancelled cycle. She had heaps of tests a couple of weeks ago. Got the results today. She has high NK cells, low egg stores and terrible endometriosis. It is so bad that it is all through the lining of the uterus. The doctor has given her a 8% chance of getting pregnant. She is taking that chance. She is doing something called the bondi proctcol.
Please know that we are all here to support each other. If you girls would like my mobile number to chat, just send me a private message.
    take care Girls Kel. Xxxx

Hope 13, I am sorry to hear of your news. There are many cases of miracle babies that the mothers had no chance at all ( by their doctors) of conceiving. Yet they got pregnant and had their healthy babies. I think we all need to believe that it is still possible beside all the odds to make this miracle happen.
The world of falling pregnant is a bit unfair as the people that crave for becoming a mother are the ones to be on this tough road. But I believe that hope and faith are the only things we can carry on in our lives so to find some happiness. I hope you find some ways to get thru this tough time.

    Take care xx

Hope13, I don't get a chance to get onto bubhub anymore as often as I'd like to but when I saw your post firstly I have to say I am really sorry to hear your cycle was cancelled. That just really sucks after all the waiting and expectations. It's great to take a complete break from IVF when you feel like you've just had enough and gosh I certainly did the same at times over my 10 year journey. You know I had pretty much lost all hope of ever falling pregnant and having a baby. When I changed specialists I really felt like I was just going through the motions and deep down never believed it would work. But miracles do happen. It's just so unfair that we have to suffer so hard physically and emotionally for it. I wish you all the best in whatever you decide to do going forward but just know that what seems impossible can still happen!
