Extremely happy. Was over the harassment and pressure about taking time off relating to my car accident injuries

Nomie - that is wonderful news!! So happy to hear that you are back in the ttc game and that you will start trying straight away : )
Congratulations on pay rise and don't you dare feel bad for ttc!!
Sending you lots and lots of baby dust.

Disney / Nomie - thanks for the link to the implantation calendar.

Funchu - are we still sort of running to the same time on our cycles? Currently on CD13 and in bd week.

MummaK - happy you are happy after giving your job the flick.

Afm - going to first acupuncture session tomorrow to try and help with ttc. I've also downloaded this pretty good audio program from circle + bloom that you listen to each day of your cycle. It's guided visualizations and relaxation techniques. They also have others for an IVF cycles, IUI cycles, ladies with pcos, etc.

Yep miss v, I'm CD13 today... wait, it's Friday now, so CD14 I need to go to bed earlier! I should o in 5-7 days, so we should be starting to bd every 2nd day from now... I've decided to just take it easy this cycle though, as I'm feeling like I'm putting myself under too much pressure (as per usual). I'm also taking study a bit easier (I'll be happy with a credit for my current subject, rather than striving for my usual distinction or high distinction) & I'm trying not to let work get to me. I'm an impatient perfectionist, which is highly stress inducing!!! I'm also currently in the midst of a potential career change, so I don't mind if it takes a few more months for me to get utd. I'm not that keen on being heavily preggers in summer either!
...of course I'm secretly hoping that my new "relaxed" approach results in a BFP... which totally undermines the whole idea of not obsessing over ttc... arrrggghhhh.

LOL we sound very alike Funchu. I'm a complete control freak, impatient perfectionist also which is an incredibly difficult personality to have when ttc!!!!
We are going to try to take it easy too (yeah right .....) every second day and hopefully not thinking about it too much. You are right in that we just put far too much pressure on ourselves.

I'm a fellow control freak! I'm supposed to let a student run my classroom today :/ I am very particular about everything. In my kindy class I even have name tags and place them in a particular order so certain children don't sit next to each other at lunch or so there aren't too many boys at one table. I even have to have the exact same amount of fruit in each bowl for morning tea!

Calstar I'm so excited for you!!! Test test!!

Try and hold out until at least 12dpo . I wouldn't have gotten a positive before then.

I'm a control freak too...funnily enough the cycle I got pregnant I was the most blase about ttc but that was mostly because my o day/fertile signs were more ambiguous that usual. I don't think you need to be relaxed to concieve ...try to de-stress though. You can't force yourself to be someone you're not...so be as much as a control freak as you like.

Sunday is 12dpo so that's my plan at the moment.
I've had tender/sores bbs for 7 days straight now! I've not had that since forever, well maybe when I first got them! That is how uncommon that is for me! Lol

Sounds promising! I got my first super-faint positive at 12dpo on a sunday. I didn't believe it though. Not until 14dpo when I re-tested.
