I was very overweight and had changed diet started exercise just before getting pregnant. I maintained the healthier eating which helped. I also had bronchitis for 2 weeks and major food aversion so was not keen on eating.

I have put on 7.5 kg and will be 26weeks on Thursday I was worried about that coz I'm carting most of the weight on my hips. I don't want to get past 10kg but I don't think that's going to happen. 😞

But I can't remember what is the normal amount of kg most ppl put on with dd & ds I only put on 10kg. They were both nice 3kg babies lets hope this ones the same

I think I read between 13-16kg is about normal.

I was a healthy weight before I got pregnant (after losing 25kg and keeping it off for 6 years). Watching the scales going up is messing with my head a bit. I'm trying to eat healthy food now, but every now and then the sugar cravings get the better of me.

3kg would be the perfect size!! I don't want to push out a big baby!!

I have had the weirdest cravings for the past 2-3 days.... I have started drinking apple cider vinegar like it's water...

    Anyone else have weird cravings?

You're right ideally a gain of 10-16kg is ideal for you and the baby.

    Wow, nice and big already.

I'd be interested to know how big my bub is so far, but still got ages to go

My friend was really skinny and had a 10lb 6oz baby last year. She said her next baby will definitely be a c section, she's not pushing out anything that huge again.

They cant tell me how big or small my baby is because I wont have another scan and the last one was at 22 weeks!
Im measuring spot on everytime for the weeks that I am so your guess is as good as mine! DD was 3.020kgs (6lb 12) so I am PRAYING for a baby around the same size lol!!!
