    My 2 little miracles!
Ella is still small - she is around 4.5kg, so still itty bitty. I get asked a lot how new she is. I get shocked looks a lot when I say almost 5 months!

Well yes and no on the hungry thing. For example the other day (Sunday) ivy slept through the night 11 hours and 10 hours Monday & Tuesday, but those nights she didn't finish her bottle, she always has a bottle for last feed.

And then last night she demanded an extra breast feed at 6 and still drank 200ml at 730! And still woke at 12 for feed, so I'm pretty sure she is hungry

Where as last week when she woke every 2 hours she wasn't hungry, she was a bit hungry but wanted comfort.

She is 15 weeks, 16 on Sunday.

Want to start solids in a couple of weeks...when she is about 4.5 months...

    What bout you?

I'm thinking bang on 4 months I'll start solids I got a great book called food babies love and its a great guide on how to start them out. Apparently for Orlando's size and age I should e giving him 6-7 120ml bottles a day (this is all expressed milk). I have been going well expressing except for today....I'm usually a bottle in front and now I've only got 90mls for next feed so have to wait up to express again soon...anyone know what effects volume of milk??

Bubs was soooo unsettled I ended up giving him a top up feed from the boob to calm him down and get him to sleep!

I so didn't have the relaxing evening I had wanted to! Hubby was out at the football and my goal was to put bubs to bed clean the kitchen make a cuppa and sit down and watch a movie or something and go to bed! Alas no - it's 11pm just getting into bed now...no cuppa,no movie and kitchen still messy! Silver lining I expressed some more so now have a bottle ready for Orlando's next feed at least lol !
