He's too young for baby bonjela (can use from 4 months old), so we give him panadol when it flares up to help settle him a bit plus he loves chewing on some teething rings we have and bought the sophie the giraffe teething one which he loves chewing on!! The poor things it must be so uncomfortable!
Sl, teething can go on for months. E has been doing it since 12 Weeks. She's 6 months on Wednesday and still no teeth. Hylands teething tablets and gel can be used from younger though.

Here in SA the women's and children's have done pretty serious teething gel...it's pretty much general Anapestic.

No idea what's up with Ivy, she went down no probs at 730, woke after one sleep cycle and has been inconsolable. I picked her up and rocked her and then put her down pretty much asleep and 10 mins later screaming again. Now I'm just trying to pat/ shhh feels like back to the old days when we started this routine. Hate hearing her cry

I am so shattered I hope she just sleeps for a few hours. DH has popped out to late night chemist to get panadol, nutofen and teething gel. Got doc appt tomorrow, but the thing is she is happy as Larry when awake, just can't stay asleep?! Pretty sure she is super overtired!

Get some panadol or nurofen into her Nic... Sometimes you just don't know what's wrong... Pain killers will help you all sleep XX

    I still bite Ivy's
Took her to doc and they said nothing noticeable wrong which is good, so my guess is wonder week!
Doc did say she looks very tired, I was like yep!! Cause she won't sleep! For her morn nap ( her only good nap) I put her down as per normal and she just cried....

KM reminded me of what you were going through, I can't seem to put her down!!

    Hi all,
    Been reading the posts.
been MIA as still having major issues with older daughter.

glad to hear everyone's babies are doing ok, apart from the occasional bad few days. I was getting worried there for a while with all these perfect babies who can roll, go to exercise classes, and are teething already. I am beginning to think my baby was behind!! and im a bad mother! My baby coco can't roll, is not teething, doesn't go to any exercise class, is not on solids and still waking anywhere from 1-3 am for a feed. She then wakes up at 530 am and requires the boob to resettle til 7. Very annoying and frustrating. baby coco is almost 5 months old. She is a major catnapper in the day and has no routine. She has to go with the flow with what the family is doing unfortunately - however she's a placid wee thing and doesn't cry much, smiles all the time and gives the best hugs. She was sleeping til 5 am a few times but then stopped it at the 4 month growth spurt time.
Anyway I'm back to work in 4 weeks time. Don't think I'm ready to go back as most of my maternity time has been very hard dealing with a defiant and angry 4 year old who can't accept she's not number one yet! But my motto is " this too will pass".
AYways glad you are all doing well, and coping the best you can.

    Hugs

Yay Sl rolling is so exciting especially when you get to see it the first time. Will rolled from his back to front 3 times in the same day and hasn't done it since ( glad I got it on video). Tomorrow is the day for his first taste of food which I'm looking forward too. He will be 4 calendar months tomorrow.

Nala do whatever you need to feel sane re bf. and sounds like the 4mth regression has hit your house too. William had gone back to waking every 1.5 hours for a week then to 3 hourly then last night was 3 hours 3.5 hours then 6 hours (my boobs didn't let me sleep that long lol) so hoping tonight is just as good as last ( maybe even better) which might be the end to our wonder week.

Good to hear from some of the other gals. Hoping dd1 gets it soon for you grampa. Maybe going back to work and getting a routine may help.

We use baby nail scissors. Found them the best with ds1 so stuck with them again this time. It's amazing how fast they grow, have to cut them ever few days. The scissors are angled out to prevent cutting any skin.

Dragon did u feed Will each time at 1.5 hours? Ivy is waking every 2-2.5 hours and wants boob but more for comfort, she doesn't appear to be taking much, I just don't want to create a bad habit but as same time I know it's a wonder week and hoping its temporary so feel I should offer it....

I have tried (not that hard) to settle without boob and she starts to cry and I'm just so tired!
