I have read food before 4 months can be dangerous cause their digestive system isn't properly developed but have also heard that its good to start early to introduce as many foods as possible to help reduce allergies.

Sl maybe he is going through the 4 month regression?
Yes I think so dragon the last few nights he's only had one 3-4 hour stretch then up every two hours! I wonder how long that lasts!!

How wrong I was! 2 mouthfuls and he was into it! He was getting irritated if I wasn't quick enough! We gave him some pumpkin for dinner last night too, he loved it!
    Nice one!

I agree SL it's too much... Do they really need this much food! In the day she has been feeding 3 hourly, and then 2 hourly before bed. I am no good with no sleep, it makes me anxious and i worry so easily it will never end I know it will but when you don't get sleep it feels like it will never end and u worry in creating bad habits by feeding her, but then I don't know what else to do!!!

Nala has Braydon gone back to longer stretches?

Ivy looks pretty interested in my good, maybe next week ill see if she will start solids, she will be 4 months in 1.5 weeks!

Just put her down for her first nap which is the only good nap and she is cracking it!

I think a lot of it is comfort feeding too because he's used to it but I've decided I don't care now how often he feeds! He's not going to be breastfed forever and I don't believe it will create bad habits!

Your such a cool mum SL, I wish I had your patience. I am not ok with comfort feeding, I'm actually thinking of quitting breast feeding...I feel sad about it, but also I feel kinda sick of it! Sick of not knowing if she is getting enough, if she is comfort sucking or if she is increasing my supply...god that sounds selfish, think I'm just tired!!!

I wrote DH a poem the other night when I was so tired and it made me really sad. As much as I love Ivy I miss my time with him so much and I often wonder if it's ever coming back...sounds a little silly I know but I'm just not the same person when I'm tired and I still feel like I'm adjusting to motherhood and that my heart is now walking outside my body as a mother....make sense to anyone??

DH says of course things will never be the same again, but I hope they are somewhat similar at some point!!

Yeah we're back to long stretches of sleep. Thank goodness, I seriously don't know how you mums so it!

Braydon has been so grizzly lately I tried him on rice cereal today... The look of horror when he tasted it was priceless! So not quiet ready for solids yet I don't think.

Gosh he is so frustrated at the moment is feeding then screaming in to his hand while sucking it, a sign of teething do you think? It's been going on for days but I don't see any whitecaps

Awesome SL, he'll be on the move soon!

Nic, makes total sense, it really changes everything doesn't it. I'm sure it will settle down at some stage, just need to make time somehow to be a couple

First sign of teething we had was red cheeks, especially on one side. Then grizzly and chewing at hands or anything, making out like he's hungry then coming off the boob (again with the chewing), dribbling and now we notice his gums get swollen and red. Still no white caps and can't feel any teeth but definitely showing teething signs for about 3 weeks now...it comes and goes. He's too young for baby bonjela (can use from 4 months old), so we give him panadol when it flares up to help settle him a bit plus he loves chewing on some teething rings we have and bought the sophie the giraffe teething one which he loves chewing on!! The poor things it must be so uncomfortable!
