That's awesome Amy. Have you noticed a change in his sleeping and how many feeds are you giving him?

Only 2 feeds so far, breaky is rice cereal mixed with formula & dinner is pumpkin... Tomorrow I'll try avocado for breakie :-) or maybe sweet potato for dinner (depends if avo is ripe enough!) I think day sleeps have been better, 3 x 1.5hour naps today, he had his longest ever nap of over 2.5hours yesterday... Nights are the same, wakes up maybe once, or none...

It's so hard to know when... Our mchn was saying 6 months... We are doing 5 so we're in the middle. But having said that he is moving his tongue around in his mouth a lot the last few days so thinking about getting some rice cereal going. Is that a sign he is ready?

16 weeks, he'll be 4 months on the 18th, we started early... To be honest I thought it would take him longer then 2 spoons to 'get it'... He's like a little bird opening his mouth for more!

Full on regression or something strange happening here! Ivy slept 730-1230 then fwd at 1230, awake again at 2, tried settling without food for 30 mins didn't work, got panadol and then I still refused to breast feed and made a 100ml of formula, she guzzled it! Back to sleep at 245 then stirred again at 4....but got back to sleep and feeding again at 5....

I have no idea what's going on but I hope it's a growth spurt or something short lived as I'm stuffed.

I need to change nappy brands, I'm using Aldi's atm but they keep leaking poo explosions. To be honest I'm not sure anything can contain these eruptions but need to try something! Sick of getting pooed on.

Dragon my MCHN has told us in Mothersgroup the recommendations have changed and now they are saying to start solids at four months to avoid allergies.

I won't be as Ella is still small and is showing no signs of wanting food apart from crying after breastfeeding, I think she is still hungry
We've been with Huggies from day one...only leaks were either if the nappy wasn't put on properly by us or if he was growing out if them...started with newborns, moved on to infants and he's got his last one of those on...now he's moving up to crawlers!!!

I'm thinking around 4 months for solids
