SL - sounds like you are having a time of it... Have you thought about comp feeding (maybe just one bottle, late night) to fill the belly up a bit more so you can get some sleep? Bubs is probably old enough now that it wouldn't affect supply so much... I hope it improves soon! x

Sometimes in growth spurts I have to comp feed, ivy doesn't seem to mind, when she is hungry she is hungry she will eat almost anything!

SL it's hard stretching the feeds out isn't it. We do every 2 during the day and have managed to stretch to 2 and a half, but 3 I haven't managed to do more than once a day, as he has a breakdown!

He's on the mend though isn't he? Gosh your really having a tough time with him poor little fella. Your doing a wonderful job with him though

We are going to pick up dh tomorrow morning. It's been almost 7 wks since we have seen him and I'm so excited. He isn't going to recognise William, they grow so fast .

My god 7 weeks! My DH is only away a week at a time and Myles changes enough in that time, plus I don't know how you survive that long without him!!

    How exciting dragon!!!

Well I just survived my first 24 hour period of seeing how often Orlando is going between feeds - I'm told you time start of feed to start of feed - so we pretty much went 3 hourly since 8.30 last night. Shortest space was 2 hours 40 and longest 4 hours 10 mins (just finished that long stretch now)! It wasn't that hard actually and he didn't get worked up really I just distracted him! I did read though that at 9 weeks bubs feed 5-6 times in a 24hr period but the last 24hrs would be 8-9 feeds in total!

I don't know how you ladies do it by yourselves when hubbies are away, I really don't

Excellent progress SL, hopefully your night goes well with lots of sleep

Hoping the excitement about DH leaving for work will wear off and be replaced by excitement about him coming home... 3 weeks down, 2 to go!

I really do love him, but I'm the sort of person who needs a LOT of space!

Ps: sometimes it's easier without an extra personality, and another persons needs, wants and emotions to have to deal with...! :-)
