I know what you mean about trying to keep track of all the vitamins, pills and injections. I made up little glad bags for each day of the week for the vitamins and had alarms set on my phone for the injections and also wrote my dose on the box for the injections. I sure am a pro now with the old injections. Ha Ha. Great that you are getting started. this is the one for you.

    Hope you are well Nickilee.
Thanks for thinking of me ABH . I'm taking a break this cycle, contemplating step to IVF.. but still find myself wondering if somehow it might happen naturally this cycle. Trying to decide whether to have a longer break & try to lose some weight, improve my health before starting IVF or to just get on with it as I'm not getting any younger

Hey Nickilee hope you a nice break...I've made the plunge to lose weight and joined weight watchers but doing a cycle at the same time, not putting any pressure on myself with the weight but I'm finding its boosting my confidence and well being in turn stopping me having too many depression moments and taking my mind off the cycle...here goes the 17ks I want lose

Hi ladies! Just dropping in to ask a question. I have a referral to city fertility and was wondering how much an initial appointment costs. Thank you and good luck in your ttc journeys! X

Hi Beccaboobang, I used to be with City Fertility it depends which specialist you are with but the initial appointment costs around $250, good luck. Hi Maranoa sorry to hear about your situation but a good idea to freeze just in case while your young, no one can tell you how many good eggs you will get or if you will have any frozen it all depends on the person etc you could end up with 36 eggs but none to freeze or 5 eggs and all good to freeze or none etc but you will be scanned regularly through the cycle and be told how you are going and how many follicles are forming, hopefully with you still been young you will have some good quality eggs in there, maybe get some advice on supplement's to start taking about 3 months before you start to increase your egg quality, Wazza who a lot of the ladies are with on here gives you a supplement list to take and gives advice on how to improve quality definitely look into this and good luck............well I am on day 3 of the injections now and i'm starting to feel like a alien with all these drugs in me and my stomach is becoming bruised and I still have about 8 more days to go hope everyone is good how you going ABH?

Wow - fantastic news Nicole! Another beautiful little girl. Hope it's going well.

How's the TWW going ABH. I hope you're getting thru ok!

KJ - I know what u mean about all the injections & bruises with the clexane! Horrible! Good luck with the follicles growing!

Nikkilee it's a big decision to start IVF, your first cycle is a learning curve but it gets a little easier knowing what to expect. We went straight into IVF due to DH's sperm issues & were so naive but it worked with one lonely blastocyst that became DD. this time round has been a longer journey, but the prize at the end is so worth it!

AFM, I had a laparoscopy last Friday to remove an ectopic, saw wazza today & he said lucky we did it then, my tube was about to rupture :-( he found endo, it's not normal type, & only in my pouch of Douglas, which my last FS removed & biopsied in jan but it came back clear. wazza didn't attempt to remove it & gave us 3 options - one to see a different surgeon to remove it, go on medication for 3-6 months to suppress it before doing fet or do a fet with the hope that the steroids & feldene, aspirin & clexane is enough to suppress it. Big decision to make, not sure what to do!

ABH, I asked about the transferring of 2, & he said its for the first two transfers only for ladies under 35, after that you can transfer 2. So we will be going for 2 since its our 7th transfer.

Welcome to the new ladies, you'll find this forum very helpful & supportive :-)

Good luck with the rest of your injections KJ35, I never got bruises from the epi pen style injections only the others and I am still bloated. Actually feeling quite crap at the moment, with period like pain and lower back pain on and off. This is the worst I have felt the whole cycle. for my BT on Wednesday, I really don't know what the outcome will be.

Thanks for the info Elarwood, on the transfer numbers. Good luck with your decision. Nothing with IVF seems to go to plan or be easy.

My mum is staying with us at the moment for a few days (she is up from Vic), so Im having to pretend that I am fine, as we haven't told her about IVF. Really just want to go home and go to bed. Its going to be a long day at work today, at least it is Friday.

Hey elarwood have you decided which way you are going to go with the endo? if you don't mind me asking what is endo? sorry if im abit naïve with it. Hope your AF isn't coming ABH ive been thinking about you, one good thing about your mum been up it may take your mind of things for a while. Im not feeling bloated yet so im really nervous thinking no follicles are forming my 2nd IVF cycle was cancelled due to this and im feeling the same, really scared. I'm on day 4 of the injections now and its like doing my 1st IVF cycle again because its so different, I have 1/2 my dose of puregon in the morning and half in the evening and then the following day ill do the same but with Menopur and then have clexane each day....should I be feeling bloated?

I'm actually not in too much pain yet, quite a lot of morphine yesterday so it must still be in my system :-)

KJ my DH had those tests done with wazza as he has low morphology & came back high abnormal chromosomes but dna fragmentation was ok. However after months on the supplements wazza prescribes he went from 13 million (very low) to 60 million (normal) & 70% motility (also normal). Not sure about the morphology as they didn't test it, but I honestly think his sperm has greatly improved due to wazza, especially since we had tried accupunture & herbs & other supplements but it was wazza's mix that did it.

ABH, I didn't realise they are changing the rules about transferring 2 in sept. coming from another clinic I was always shocked to hear they transfer 2 but we were going to do 2 next cycle. I wonder if wazza will still let us given our history. No advice on clexane, but can emphasize with you. I haven't taken it for 3 weeks & bruises are still clearing.
Hi, sorry to crash the thread, just wondering what supplements wazza put your DH on to improve his sperm count? My DH had a SA test recently which came back at 11 million and I'm wondering what he can do take to improve it. He was fine in the other three areas. Thanks!

All the best for your scan today KJ35. I am thinking of you.

Almost finished my TWW, with BT on Wednesday, seems like the TWW takes a month. Hanging out to know either way. I'm feeling so much better than I did last week.

If you try typing supplements into the search bit above forum, you should find the supplements list kcooper.
