Default 2nd time earlier and quicker?

Did you go into labour earlier with your second and was it a shorter labour?

Yes and yes. My first was induced at 42 weeks, 7.5 hour labour. My second arrived spontaneously at 41 weeks and labour was only 3 hours.

No my second came a week later than my first, however my labour was shorter-DS1 labour was 4 hours & DS2 was 1 hour.

Both mine were at nearly 42 weeks, though 2nd labour was very quick, 3 hours all up.

I was 10 days early with my second as opposed to 4 days over with my first. And second labour was definitely shorter. Was a blink and you miss it one!

Both were induced and #1 was at 38+3 and #2 at 39+3 both for medical reasons, so #2 was later, but it was a little artificial . As for quicker labour, yes, much quicker. 1st labour was 9 hours from ruptured membranes, 2nd was 5.5 hours

With both kids i went into labour at 38+2 weeks. Unfortunately my second labour was longer.
First labour was an hour and a half.
    Second labour was 3.5 hours.
