Has anyone done the lemon detox? I'm amused that nothing but lemon juice and cayenne pepper for weeks on end can be considered healthy.

It's not considered healthy, it's a starvation diet!

It's all just ridiculous. All your body really needs is water to flush out toxins and proper nourishment. It shouldn't be a diet, it should be a change.

I tried it years ago.. It was foul! I couldn't bring myself to drink the stuff without gagging so i gave up on it early on.

My mom used to do this diet for as long as 10 days, and to this day I am not sure how she did it.

I think the longest I lasted was 10hrs, and that felt like 10 years. Aside from what everyone says, this does work... but it's not the only and/or easiest way to detox or lose weight. Just my $0.02.

Loco..... If hunger is your main issue consider cutting out sugar in all its forms. Sugar triggers food cravings and blood sugar problems which increases appetite. I gave up sugar about one year ago and I am never hungry. I never snack or eat morning and afternoon tea. It has really helped.
