Is that different to assisted hatching? We did ICSI and AH on our third (successful) cycle.

I'll be honest I don't know much about assisted hatching or anything.

What I've read is it just a hormone/chemical that is put in the corner of the dish to weed out the less mature sperm.

We had treatment for unexplained infertility at IVF Australia. On our first two cycles we did ICSI, but no AH. Our third cycle we added AH and fell pregnant. Each time we did slightly different drugs, but I think it was the AH that got our BFP.

Here is their description of AH: http://ivf.com.au/fertility-treatment/advanced-science

Thanks for the link, geez sometimes don't you wish you never had to learn all of this stuff, o well. I'm feeling optimistic seeing as it will be our first cycle, the FS said because of his shocking morph results it's well worth the extra money if it helps find a few decent swimmers, thanks for the help
