I also plan on stocking up on meat, frozen veggies and pantry staples that can be used to create a meal without having to go to the shop. Probably will use my slow cooker a lot too.
Cool, I will try to prepare as much as I can in advance!
We have the same due date!

I am in the process of stocking my freezer. So far I have done potato & leek soup, cottage pie and minestrone soup. I am also going to do chicken & corn soup, pea & ham soup, dahl and just a bunch of casseroles and stuff. Luckily I am getting a winter bub so slow cooker meals will go down a treat.

Lol how funny! I plan to start cooking at the beginning of June but maybe I should tart earlier. When do you plan to start cooking?

I also marinaded portions of chicken/meat and froze them in the marinade in ziplock bags then you can just defrost through the day, throw in the oven and have with a bag salad or homemade salad/steamed veges for the nights when you want something a bit lighter (chicken breasts, thighs, drumsticks etc).

    Don't forget lunches!

Try a loaf of bread, make sandwiches, buttered on the wrong sides with ham and cheese filling or similar then restack into the bread bag and freeze.

Voila- grab one out, throw in the Toastie machine and you have an easy instant lunch.
