See footy jumpers to us are guernsey's... don't forget to put your guernsey in your bag!!

I interchange lunch and dinner for the midday meal.. and sometimes tea and dinner for the evening meal.. there is no standard here.

    I say glad wrap.

Kids at my school don't even know what trousers are any more- they've only ever heard them be called pants (or more particularly trakkies, jeans etc)

Permanent markers (or permanent textas) are never Nikko's... but ever increasingly over the past few years they are becoming Sharpies.

I also interchange rock melon and cantaloupe- my kids know they are the same fruit.

I say runners or sneakers too... more so runners these days though.

I say 'airplane' but that's also because that's how we spell. If I grew up spelling 'aeroplane' I would probably say it that way.

I say trousers. Pants are underpants (unisex - I've never heard anyone call them panties before).

And trainers for shoes you wear while exercising.

Aeroplane. My spell-check on Chrome doesn't like it though. (Then again it has a problem with colour, theatre, centre, etc. so it can go jump!)

Haha I'm from SA and I've only ever heard them referred to as water slides. I've heard old people say sweets, but not sweeties!

I say panties! Panties are girls, underwear in general--or underpants. Sometimes I'll say jocks or boxers for boys but usually underwear.
