    No gap for me. I had the runs and pretty much from then on I was in labour. I had no other bm's in labour, it all happened and stopped before the onset of labour. In other words, one thing lead to another.

    With my first I was induced and ha dthis a few hours into my induction. With my 2nd I had this during the few hours before labour became established. With my 3rd I had this the 2 evenings before I went into labour but not actually the night I went into labour.

    Hmmm... just started to get some period pain now to.... hopefully this is things progressing... I'll be annoyed if I wake up still pregnant tomorrow... lol

    no, i was very constipated and sufferd heamerroids thru the end of my pregnancy.
    Once i was in actual labour i had quite a few bowel movements but they were very solid. No signs of the runs for me at all.

    Same for me... Started 2 days before I started having contractions I could time...(Sunday morning started the runs...Tuesday morning timing contractions and then lunchtime had my baby)

    I didn't have the runs as such. For 2 days I had this urgent need to go to the loo for number 2s and it always felt like I was getting the runs.

    That was early labour for me too! Started at 8 in the morning when i ran to the toilet cos i thought i needed to go, nothing. Then started to get the runs about 9, then my waters broke at 10.30 and i accepted it was labour. He was born geo hours later, we just made it to the hospy

    Sorry for TMI, with DD I had the runs on and off for several weeks and ended up being induced 10 days late lol but it is a good sign so hopefully u are close... Good luck xxxx
