I have just placed my two year old in daycare with the intention of finding a trainee ship in Child care..i was lucky to have a call back and have my interview in a couple of days..thing is, this morning i found out i am 5 weeks pregnant! I still want to go ahead with the interview hoping i get the job even though i know i wont be able to complete the trainee ship in the 12 months..am i obligated to tell the person that is interviewing me? Or do i lay the i didnt know card until the news has to be told after the first trimester?? Any advice would be greatly appriecated )

Let them know after 12 weeks.

I am not telling work until I am 16 + weeks.

Congrats on your bfp by the way

Agree with the other ladies, keep it hush-hush for the time being.

    Congratulations on the BFP!

Legally you're under no obligation to tell them at all, because you won't be eligible for unpaid parental leave as bub will be born before you reach 12 months service. But obviously they'll be able to tell long before bub is actually due. Congratulations on the pregnancy and good luck for your interview :-)
