    Default :( not very happy

So lovely DD broke my iPhone 4S and money's not exactly permitting buying a new one so I brought a second hand iPhone 3GS. No issues with the phone love it. But I went put to buy a case for it. Anyways I asked the lady at casphone which case would definitely fit an iPhone 3GS and she gave me 3 options anyway I picked one got it home put my phone in it it'd it nicely went in great seemed perfect but the next morning the edging is breaking away ?!?!? ImageUploadedByThe Bub Hub1365472705.414745.jpg ImageUploadedByThe Bub Hub1365472728.683584.jpgImageUploadedByThe Bub Hub1365472747.874609.jpg so I took it back in with my receipt to show her what is happening all she could say was I could buy a new one she wasn't sure why it did that it is great quality and is suppose to fit a 3GS. What a frighten waste of $45 sure it's $45 but $45 on a product that lasted 12 hours. So I'm not very happy

I'd demand a refund. It was faulty so you are entitled to one.

I thought so too but apparently not my only option is to buy a new one. So I basically just flushed $45 down the toilet

You are definitely entitled to a refund if the product is faulty. Demand one or say you are taking the matter to consumer affairs.

She told you to buy a new one?
Afraid not, you've been sold a product thats not of merchantible quality, not fit for purpose, etc.
you are entitled to a refund, its a consumer right protected by the trade practices act.
    You go girl.

Policy is once its opened they don't a refund wtf I know my phone would fit as it was put into the exact same display one. It's just poor quality the hard plastic is just crumbling but receipt or not I'm not allowed a refund or even exchange I literally bought it before close and bought it back the next day at opening . It didn't even last a whole frighten day. I'm a tight *** and don't like wasting money maybe that's why I'm annoyed

Demand a refund. She sold you faulty goods or mislead you on the suitability of the case for your phone.
Tell her you will be contacting the office of fair trading and follow through if she still doesn't issue a refund.

The policy can't override the legislation.
If its faulty, they're obliged to replace or refund.
I'd be asking to speak to store owner, then going to Consumer Affairs.

It's not about what she "says" you can have. Legally she is obliged to replace a faulty product. Demand a replacement as is your legal right!!
