I'm going to Joondalup and our management fee was only $2k and we got back just under $500. All appts cost $100 and we get back $73.05... We did ivf so safety net had already been reached.

I'm going to SJOG Murdoch, paid my fee of $1800 & got $494 back from Medicare the same day. My monthly appointments are $110, I get back $69 each time now that I've reached the safetynet. He does an ultrasound at each appointment which doesn't cost any extra but I had to pay about $220 for my anatomy scan at Western Ultrasound.

I have been with DR Churchward (Mercy) too. He is sometimes bulk bill... If you have a low income card he always is. If you don't depends what button he pushes by the time you get to reception! lol He doesn't do scans at every appointment. He also cannot do c-sections, he will refer you on of course.

I have PHI so I was only out of pocket for the scans and blood tests for one pregnancy, (low income card), and then scans, tests and then the odd appointment I was charged instead of bulk bill.

I didn't have low income card and I always get bulked bill with Dr Churchward. My sil went to him for her pregnancy and she also get bulked bill every appointment also.

All my scans and blood tests were $0 out of pocket
