I tried Angela & Melina's Baharat beef with sweet potato mash.
So easy and yet so tasty.
I tried Dan's triple cooked fries but they weren't any better them my normal fries, although I didn't use the potatoes he recommended.
I bought all the ingredients for the zucchini fries but never got round to making them. Seeing as everyone here loved them I'm going to have to put that on my to do list this weekend.
    Tonights food looked scrumptious.

I use a Gordon Ramsay Chinese soup stock recipe I found years ago - the prawn oil I think makes it! As mentioned I used the prawn wonton recipe from MKR but added coriander:

    Chinese soup stock recipe :
    Ingredients
2 table spoons Chinese cooking wine ( shao sing wine)
    750 ml boiled water
    2 tablespoons peanut oil
4 raw, large king prawn heads and shells
Small knob fresh ginger, peeled and sliced
2 stalks lemongrass bruised and cut into 5cm slices
    4 kaffir lime leaves
    2 eshallots minced
2 cloves garlic peeled and sliced
Small handful fresh coriander root roughly chopped
500 ml good vegetable or fresh chicken stock

    Method:

Place the prawn heads and shells in a large saucepan.

Pour the oil over and cook gently for 3-4 minutes until golden brown, stirring constantly. Do not allow to burn. Next, add the ginger, lemongrass, lime leaves, shallots and cooking wine Cook with the prawn shells for 2-3 minutes over a medium heat before adding the garlic and coriander roots. Cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly.

Stir in the veggie or chicken stock and simmer for 60 mins - strain and place soup back in saucepan - i then add wontons and fresh coriander leaves
