    You can always call on the bday to say happy birthday. At 2 they don't have a concept of dates anyway. It's a once in a life time opportunity just stop feeling guilty and go

    I say go!!! Little guys have no idea of the day, you can celebrate when you get back. If you've worked really hard for it then you deserve the time to go, sounds like a once in a lifetime trip!!!!!

    I felt really guilty when I has to send my son to childcare on his second birthday so I could work, being in a different country might eat at me.

    I'm not sure what I'd do.
