    Congrats to Kelsie

Question for all: Do you guys start a pregnancy diet (ie eating allowed foods etc) before you find out you're pregnant? AF isn't due til 27May and I'm not sure if I'm lucky enough to be pg!

From what I can tell, it's a good idea to start a pregnancy 'diet' - avoidance of certain foods from just before the time of possible implantation - so before typical day 21. If it is implanted, then it can be affected. Best not to wait til you get your BFP. I feel like I haven't had a drink for 8 years! So not funny

I think it's each to their own, I was being super careful in the tww for the first 6 months but now I'm just going with the flow until a confirmed bfp

I know how you feel Channy! It gets so awkward - particularly dinner parties or going out...or just life in general. Bring on the BFPs so we don't have to worry about being unnecessarily cautious anymore

You can if you like. The first couple of months I did but it really gets draining after a while because it feels like you're putting your life on hold. Thats not very good for you imo! As it turns out i ate soft serve at about 9dpo and ham at 12dpo before I got my bfp. I've only been careful since I got my bfp...its very hard when DH doesn't get it and when I see my parents I don't want them to notice! I did stop drinking alcohol during o and the tww though but I only started drinking it again a couple of months ago after avoiding it for almost a year.
