    Default Lower back pain

    The last few mornings I've woken up with extreme lower back pain. I'm only 14 weeks and wasn't expecting to have this type of pain so early

    I feel your pain...literally!

    I'm 27 weeks and just hitting the really uncomfortable stage. I have real sympathy for people who endure back pain throughout life...I'm getting a taste of how debilitating it is.

    My big worry is how I'll be at 30, 35, 37 weeks. Really freaking me out!

    Think I might have to for out a King's ransom for SRC shorts.

    Oddly enough, I had worse lower back pain earlier on in my pregnancy. Now Im almost 37 weeks and my back is fine. Its the muscles in my lower tummy and in my groin that hurt now but apparently they are all connected. I highly reccommend getting a pregnancy yoga dvd. It really helps me with all my muscle pains. Ohh and lots of pillows while you sleep, the extra back support and tummy support really helps even early on.

    Sleep on your side, pillow between the knees, and see a physio. You might need a si joint support belt as you get bigger.

    Invest in some pillows. They will save your back, neck and every other bone haha

    I got back pain very early on in my pregnancy. Some days there were no issues, others there was.
    A hot shower or a massage normally helps. You should maybe start checking out places that do pregnancy massages as I find they do work wonders if it is constant.
    But like others have said, a pillow did help for a few months. I got a cheap body pillow that did do wonders. Now at 27 weeks it doesn't help quiet as much, but I still love sleeping with it.

    I have twisted hips, and have had the worst lower back pain since getting pregnant.. I've found seeing a chiropractor very helpful

    My baby is 10 weeks old and im still having physio 2 times a week...ouch!
