We are the same height! It was really hard to find a tiny heel to wear on our wedding day.

Also when we first became a couple many years ago we were both the same weight - 55kg! That didn't last long for either of us

He's taller by almost a foot - not hard though as I'm only 5"1. I love the height difference because my head lays right in the middle of his chest when we hug

DH is about 10cm shorter than me - it bothers others a lot more than it bothers us (as demonstrated by the posts already, a lot of people have an 'ideal' height difference). We put up with a bit of ribbing when we first got together but both have good sense of humour. Being tall anyway I've never been one for 7inch heels, but still crack out my gorgeous kitten heels for a special occasion. (motherhood + farm life - which have both come since I met DH - don't allow for much heel wearing anyhow)

At 174cm I knew that if I specified that a guy had to be taller than me I'd be cutting out almost half the eligible bachelors out there, so had dated guys of various heights, short, tall, the same as me. DH was actually more adamant that he'd never date someone taller than him and still doesn't know how I slipped past his filter!

The only thing I do suspect though, as DH is gorgeous with green eyes, chiseled jaw, buff bod, blonde, tanned (oh, and an awesome personality!) - if he was 6' he'd probably be out of my league!

I'm about 168cm tall and df is easily 10-15cm taller. I love it. I love having to stretch up to kiss him and 'fitting' perfectly when we hug.

I personally could not date someone shorter but don't really give it a thought when I see others.

I am taller than my (now ex) husband. I remember bending my legs under my wedding dress so that he appeared taller than me.

I'm 5'5 and dp is about 5'11 (i think) which is perfect. Though I don't really know him any different so it's perfect because it's what it is.
