    Default Reflux or Intolerance/Allergy?

I originally suspected DS2 had colic, but no longer believe this. He doesn't cry incessantly anymore, just random, loud painful screeches.

I don't know if this is reflux, or he has intolerances like his brother. I need some first hand advice as only some symptoms are 'typical' IYKWIM.

    - loud screeching after most feeds
    - pulls his legs up constantly
    - seems to be in pain
    - vomiting A LOT, up to an hour afterwards
    - constantly wants to feed for comfort
    - some poos now have tiny bit of mucus
    - once asleep he can lay flat no problem
    - getting to sleep ok, but wakes frequently
    - putting on weight, but only the minimum
ETA - makes choking sounds sometimes

I will be going to a GP, but want to be armed with knowledge this time. With DS1 I knew something was wrong, but it took 3 months for medical pro's to take a FTM seriously, as he was generally a very happy baby - just chucked a lot. Turned out he was dairy & soy intolerant and had to go on prescription formula. I don't want a repeat of this.

So what does the above sound like to you?

My first did all of those things, it was a hind milk/foremilk imbalance. She was fine once I got that sorted (about 2-3 weeks).
My second also did all those things, she had reflux. With her I just rode it out, a few osteo visits and a few other measures (cot elevated etc etc) and she grew out of it.
Trust your gut, you have been there before, you will know. Everyone told me both my kids were intolerant to dairy but considering my dairy intake was minimal I knew it wasn't.
I hope you are going well with your gorgeous bubs Pesca.

Thanks MummaOJ life's busy but love them to bits. It's amazing how different your babies can be though!

Did you find the Osteo a help? I was actually considering that if things don't improve in the next week.

My DD1 had all of those and she was diagnosed dairy intolerant. Lucky for me she was ok with soy so used soy formula and she became Dream baby. I had already given up breastfeeding by the time we got diagnoses cause i was exhausted. Poor bub would spew and feed, spew and feed every hour. she Also found chiro helped her a lot.
