Default To try or not to try this month?

We are trying for number 1 since December. Before that I was on depo and through acupuncture finally had my first period. Now I don't know whether to try this month or wait till next month.

I know that it is possible that I might not O this month but I am not sure how I feel about a January baby. It is such an expensive time I am worried that adding a baby to the mix is going to be too much.

Hubby thinks I'm being silly even thinking about it. He thinks that if it happens great but its unlikely I'll even O so why worry.

    Opinions/thoughts

I know how you feel, I initially didn't want to try last month or this month as I didn't want to be heavily pregnant during summer. But there is only like 20-25% chance of a healthy couple getting pregnant each cycle. We will try again this month (3rd cycle TTC).

Sorry I realise my response isn't helpful lol

I have a Jan baby - 6th - and to be honest it is fine, except that other people seemed to think that since they'd just bought her a Christmas present, she didn't need a birthday present. We aren't big gift givers though, and worked on a rule I saw on Pinterest - something you want, something you need, something to wear and something to read.
I wouldn't now go and have a second Jan baby if I was thinking about it though!

Im at about 19 months TTC now, I'd give it a shot. In the end it's just one month more you could know your baby in your life time

I started off trying to plan not to be pregnant/due near Christmas but after two miscarriages I was just happy to be pregnant and stay pregnant.

Had my beautiful baby girl 2/1/2013 and wouldn't change it for the world.

I wouldn't put too much thought into that stuff, at the end of the day, there's always something 'on' most months. Other birthdays, holidays etc

    Good luck TTC!

I'm a firm believer in never ever waiting to TTC. Nobody in the IVF waiting room
Thought they would have trouble. It could take a lot longer than you think. And from a financial point of view you'd probably clear the Medicare safety net in the first month, so you would save money
