I think he's pretty much agreeing with you, Atropos.

Who would post an article that they haven't even read?
Let alone assume what it says and then run off with a conspiracy theory.

    Bizarre.

Nope- he's saying she read only what she wanted to. I'm saying its possible to misunderstand it.

I didn't say she didn't read it. See how you misinterpreted what I posted? LMF may have done the same with the article, not read it properly and misunderstood it. No big deal, it happens. It doesn't mean there is a conspiracy theory at all.

Whatever way LMF came to her conclusion, it's not a reasonable argument for Anti-RIC.

I agree- the info from this article isn't necessarily an argument against RIC. There are much better arguments

Yes you did. Skimming is not reading. If she read it, she wouldn't have missed it.

Who cares though? Everyone has picked her up on it, time to move on.

For goodness sake. If one skims text they are still reading it, just not as well as they might. Since we're being pedantic-

    From Merriam Webster dictionary-

    To skim
: to read, study, or examine superficially and rapidly; especially : to glance through (as a book) for the chief ideas or the plot

It's entirely possible she missed part or misunderstood part of the article. It seems you are reading what YOU want to read into it. I agree with Lambjam, time to move on.
