Neither company has acquired a prepuce in nearly 20 years: Advanced BioHealing and SkinMedica’s cells lines are both derived from a single foreskin.
    What is your point?

I see it like the use of aborted fetal cells for vaccine research. If they are going to be disposed of anyway, why not atleast have something positive come from them? You aren't rubbing foreskin into your face.

Just to clarify- aborted foetal cells are not used in vaccine research-some vaccines use cell lines that were originally derived from such cells, more than 40 years ago. This article explains it well:
    http://www.sciencebasedmedicine.org/...ccinationists/

    From that article:

Some vaccines culture the attenuated virus in human diploid cell lines that were derived from aborted fetuses. There are currently two such human cell lines in use: the WI-38 line (Winstar Institute 38), with human diploid lung fibroblasts developed in 1964, and MRC-5 first cultured in 1970. So each cell line is over 40 years old. Further, the cells themselves are not part of the vaccine. Viruses are cultured in these cell lines.

LMF from what I read in the article you've posted- this is the same thing. These companies used the cell line of basically a donated foreskin, they aren't shipping in buckets of foreskins to make face cream. I am against RIC, but if you go back and have a read of this article, they are essentially growing their own, not collecting other people's, although they did start out with one.

They were, as you said Atropos, used in the 60s/70s but that doesn't mean you are being injected with babies, just like you aren't rubbing foreskin onto your face. It really is a pointless reason for being against RIC.

I think LMF may have misunderstood the article

I'm anti-RIC but this article is neither here nor there for me. The companies making money from this aren't forcing anyone to do anything; if they profit from a legal activity so be it.

I wouldn't say it was a misunderstanding. The article really couldn't be misunderstood.
It sounds to me that she read what she wanted to believe... somehow.
It sounds like a great conspiracy theory though! Might need to get a few more on-board before it reaches the credibility of the faked moon landing.

Disagree. The first it of the article mentions donated foreskins, if she skimmed the rest she may have missed the more pertinent info. She hasn't come back to say what she thought, maybe she doesn't know how cell lines work. I can see how she may have thought it was something worse than it is.
