Default Recommend me a good concealer for dark circles

I haven't used a concealer during the past few years and I think it's time I started again!

Can anyone recommend an effective one for disguising dark circles?

I'd prefer one that costs under $30.00.

    Thanks!

It is more than $30, but the best one I know is Touche Eclat. Does a great job, and doesn't leave any cloggy marks in fine lines like some concealers do! And you can use it for other stuff too - like highlighting cheekbone, browbone, etc.

For dark circles you will need a highlighter and a corrective concealer. Concealers are not formulated to cover heavy discolouration and used on their own tend to highlight the problem.

As GirlX suggested, Yves Saint Laurent's Touche Eclat is indeed a very good product...it costs about $60. It's a highlighter, though, not a concealer. It counteracts the discolouration and has light reflecting properties to brighten the skin. If your circles are light you'll get away with using this. However, if they are darker, you'll need to apply a corrective concealer afterward and then after you have gently blended in a bit of foundation, set it with a translucent powder, depending on the weather.

There are many corrective concealers on the market and it's a case of testing out which one suits you. Dermablend and Kryolan make a good one. Go with one shade lighter than your skin tone and ensure it's creme based. Any lighter and you get the raccoon look so often seen in photos.

I have always had dark circles under my eyes, it's just my complexion unfortunately. I use YSL Touché Éclat and it works for me. You can get it for $50 on strawberrynet.com, free delivery as well. I'm blond with quite light skin but yellow undertones and I tan, don't go red, and color 2.5 is good for me. But you could always try it at a place like Meyer or DJ's to figure out what color you need and then order it off strawberrynet.

Alternatively, Benefit is a really good brand, cheaper than YSL and you can order off their website and they ship internationally. For highlighting they have Ooh La Lift which I keep in my bag to brighten up my eyes sometimes. For concealer they have Erase Paste which is really good and I would use it more but the color the girl have me at the counter when I was last in the states is too pink for me (I was in a hurry so didn't really test it). It does work wonderfully I just need a different color! Think it'd be around $20-30 US.

For Benefit, again you can go to Meyer and test what color you need then order it online. Sometimes strawberrynet has it, if not go directly to Benefit's website.
