    Default School holidays

What does everyone have planned to do with the kids? So far the only thing I have planned is taking DD to the movies today to see the croods! Need some ideas! Something that won't cost a bomb!

Nothing because the holidays are already expensive enough with vacation care and paying for babysitting. Might go putt putt though as we have never been and i know DS who is 5 will enjoy it.

I'm on prac for the full 2 weeks of hols so the kids will be going to vacation care.
They have excursions to the movies, bowling, trip a farm and the likes so it shouldn't be too bad for them.

Bowling? I'll be doing that next week.

    You could also...
    *Have a cooking/baking day
*Do a little girly mani/pedi/movie day at home
    *Go to the library
    *Go to the art gallery/museum/etc
    *Park
*Animal Parks (if there are ones nearby)
    *Beach/Pool
    *Bike Rides
    *Skate park/indoor play centre
    *Invite other kids over
    *Plaster Fun House
    *Craft
    *Wii games or similar
*Shopping Centres often have free stuff on in them during the holidays

I will most likely be doing very little - working tomorrow and Thursday (and Saturday) and DP is having a bunch of moles removed tomorrow morning so he'll be out of action for a bit (because of their positions).

Then the following week I've got to put her in Vacation Care for at least 3 days... so she'll be occupied there hopefully.

I'll still have uni so DS will be in Vacation Care two days a week, plus he spends five days with his dad.
Together we won't do anything major, just a lot of trips to the skate park.
