Not me personally but my mums friend was really close friends with Angus Young from ACDC (the school boy). He used to spend Christmas with them a lot Oh and he's such a lovely guy too!

Heehee- I am old family friends of Dan Sultan's (our mums are very close) so we used to have baths together as kids. Gah he was an annoying little ****e, 2 years younger and the same age as my little brother and cousin. I find it endlessly amusing that he's now considered a heart throb.

I've never heard of him. Am I too old?

I think anyone spends enough time in Melbourne knows Paul Kelly. DH is good friends with his son.

I wish I knew Nick Cave.

A guy I went to school with's mum dated Nick Cave before she got together with his dad. That is pretty awesome. My (other) uncle knows him quite well too, he owns a cafe in Brunswick st and used to own a live music venue in Prahran.
Come to think of it, all my uncles know lots of famous people. My OTHER other uncle is a critic and knows many writers.

And speaking of sons, I once had to wait for an ambulance for Sigrid Thornton's son when he jumped off a balcony and impaled his butt on a picket fence
