My DH had a guest role on Home and Away a LONG time ago.
A friend of ours was a Wallaby.
Have met heaps of singers/ musos through a friend of mine who worked for Sony and have met a few actors/ singers through my old job.

Never watched the show, but he was a cop/ detective (?) investigating a crime. It would have been in the late 90's.

My parents when to school with Keith Urban in Caboolture. He was a few years younger than them but they were mates with his older siblings. My mum said even when he was little he carried his guitar around everywhere and was always playing at lunchtime and after school. He always busked on the Main Street on a weekend too.

Was David Whenam nice? I heart him.
Lol I was only an extra in several scenes. But got pretty close to them in a few scenes also. Some didn't make it to screen, while other scenes did.

I love David, have since I was a kid watching sea change (diver dan) think he was my first crush. He looks just as good in person as he does on screen. He was probably the one I got closest too but that scene was deleted from the movie (it was before going into the cinema) he was so so nice, pretty cheeky too. But also kept to himself a fair bit.

Oh see I was really disappointed when I saw him in real life. He is much shorter than I expected and was quite camp.

And he spent longer at the hairdresser than I did!
