2008 (18) - moved out, got engaged - grew up a lot this year

2010 - (20) got married, mil had cancer, applied to study & at the end of the year finally got rid of a bad crowd of friends & stopped drinking/partying. This was a hard year overall, but made me learn to deal with things as an adult & dh and I became stronger.

Happy to say things are now wonderful, expecting no 1 in Nov, and although were still renting working towards our own house.

2011 & 2012 both have had to be the most impacting on my life to date.

2011-miscarried our IVF miracle after almost 2 years of TTC. This is the hardest thing DH and I have been through but came out the other side stronger. Pregnant again through IVF and this time it's a sticky bubba..but bitter sweet as my grandmother who i was extremely close to passed away before I had a chance to share my news with her.

2012-our beautiful son is born and our life as a family of 3 begins. Didn't realise I could love another human so much. Amazing! The year just got even better when I fell pregnant naturally and it's another sticky bubba.

And 2013 is shaping up to be another amazing year..can't wait to meet our 2nd little boy.

There's a few that have had positive and negative big changes.

1995 aged 6 my dad passed away, as you'd expect it changed everything.

2001 aged 12 we left the place we called home and it brought a whole new sense of family

2005 aged 16 the year I met dh and learnt what 'real' love is

2010 aged 21 I had a hip reconstructed for the first time in years I was pain free with a new outlook on life

    There's more but that'll do

Oh my, I am so sorry for your loss. I couldn't read and not respond, last year my dh nearly died from the very same horrible disease. Take care and do what ever you need to do don't listen to silly comments or questions xx

2003. My best friend was killed in a car accident and I went off the rails big time, i went from being a straight A student at school who had a job and a happy life to a very dark depressed person, drinking insane amounts and doing drugs, and honestly didnt care about my life or what happened to me. Until I met my now DH and it sounds cliché but he saved me. He really changed me life and every single day I am grateful that I met him and that he looked past all the bad things and saw the pain I was in and did everything he could to pull me out of it.

Which is why there has never been a doubt in my mind that he is my soul mate.
