I'm finding this season so confusing. I haven't read the books even though I have them, just haven't had time. I love Game of Thrones, but this season isn't like the first 2, nothing is really happening and when it does it's so quick and unexplained I'm getting confused. And would you believe I still barely know all the characters names? I can't even get that right lol

But Baelish is still in Kings Landing? I think it had a bird on the sail, but I can't think who has a bird for their sigil.

Could it have been Joffrys' fiances Brothers boat returning?

I don't think we saw Baelish after we saw the boat so it could be him.... Who knows?!

Its was Baelish's boat. The bird on the sail was the same as the bird brooch he wears at his neck.

I'm glad I'm not the only one confused about why Theon Grayjoy is getting tortured. (I keep having to fast forward through the really gory bits cause I am a whooose). If the torture guy is Roose's son arent they being mean to people on both sides of the fight?????

Ramsay is just a psycho. It doesn't matter to him who Theon is. He just wants a new plaything.

Thanks for clearing up about Baelish!

I'm finding this season a lot more complicated then the last 2. I'm having to ask dh heaps of questions. Luckily he has read the books so understands a lot more.
The gore when Theon was being tortured was a bit too much

I love the romance between Jon snow and the wildling girl.

I thought with the boat it wasn't about someone leaving, more Sansa realising she has lost her chance to.

I only realised it was Ramsay Bolton after he started peeling the skin :vomit:

Thanks for answering my questions by the way I guess it is easier for them to use Gendry rather than introduce a whole new character.

Now I'm wondering what else is going to be different. I'm still not sure why they have kept Rickon with Bran going to the wall. I'm sure they should have split up by now.

I'll try my best to clear things up without revealing any spoilers.

Yes he is Roose's b@$tard son and yes they are being mean to people on both sides - this plot line is just beginning and we will see more of the Boltons this season.

Theon is getting tortured for a reason. Again, this is tied into the Boltons and we will learn the motives and plan soon.

Yes it was Baelish's boat - his sigil is the mockingbird.

Sansa was crying because she had just been told she must marry Tyrion, thus shattering her dreams of Loras rescuing her from the Lannisters.

Re the CGI at the wall; that was all necessary imo. Those scenes were true to the book.

The writers have used Gendry to take on the plot line of another of King Roberts b@$tards: Edric Storm. This will give Gendry much more screen time than he would otherwise have this season, and no need to introduce another character.

Re Joffrey killing Roslyn: since she's not actually mentioned in the books at all, i guess it was time to end that character. She did take on the very short plot line of the w#ore "Chataya".

Lastly; i guess this next part could be termed a very minor spoiler, but it is in answer to all the very graphic violence (for those that said they find it too much) so if you're addicted to the show and will keep watching anyway, dont read the rest of this post!

But if you are put off by all the violence, take heart. It is building to a climax, but the war is nearly over and there will be less violence soon. (But until then, it will actually get worse in the next few episodes)
