Episode 2 was great! Left me wanting more as always. Setting up plot lines for the rest of the season pretty well I think. The thing I don't understand is why Sansa has to look like an unshowered, no hair-do, poor girl. Someone get the poor girl some shampoo and a brush!!

Interesting that you think this as I have the opposite view - they are flying through it! Have you read the books? They are not drawing it out. They have cut out sooo much fluff. If they cut out any more they'd have to leave out entire plots.

The start of a season is never as exciting as the middle and end though!

I just KNOW how they are going to end this season!!

She totally had a bump. And the puppies from the start are all grown up.

    I just found this:

298 AL: The events of Game of Thrones begin, seventeen years after the end of Robert's Rebellion. The Seven Kingdoms become engulfed in the massive civil war known as the War of the Five Kings.
299 AL: By the time of the death of King Renly Baratheon, it has been eighteen years since Robert's Rebellion, indicating a year or more has passed since the events of the series began.

I reckon we're a good two years from the beginning now.

I agree! I hope they don't cut too much more!

Interesting introduction of Jojen and Meera too, very dramatic!

Yes! I had been waiting for Jojen to come into it and he's the little boy from Love Actually and Nanny McPhee

Just found this thread, I haven't watched the 2nd ep yet, will watch it tonight, I did sadly find the first ep a bit of a let down. The last ep of Season 2 had me so excited for season 3, then the first ep of season 3 I actually fell asleep! Oops!

I haven't read the books though, and do at times find it hard to keep up, so I think this thread is going to be really helpful

I agree! So much has been glazed over, that if i hadnt read the books, i dont think i'd fully grasp some of it.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but it didn't really say much about Theon in the book this season?
