    Default Zumba Injury

    Hi All

Zumba'd my butt out today. I have been doing the rush disc every second day without any issues. But today right at the end I must of over done it and I heard a deep crack and snap sound. Now it hurts like buggery to put weight on my leg. I can walk, just not well.

I've obviously pulled a muscle or something on the outside or front of my right side of my hip.

Did any one who did Zumba get a similar injury?

Should I bother to see the doctor? Or just rest?

    Thanks heaps!

I think I might do that. Thank you for the advice I feel like a horse has kicked me in the side.

I would be worried about a torn tendon. I think you will likely need to consult a professional.

Yeah usually those pop and crack sounds in sports injuries can be ligaments tearing etc

    Hi Mummy!

I couldn't make the doctors on time. But it doesn't hurt like it did anymore. It's more like a pressure pain now but I can walk. It just gets sore when sitting or walking too much. It more feels like I have an attachment on my hip.

I will be going to the doctors when they open next and just get it checked out.

But, glad to say it doesn't like as bad as it did.

Ouch that must be so sore. I hope it feels better soon. I second going and seeing a dr. I hurt my knee earlier this year but that was different sort of injury.
