Default thrush in mouth of 4 wk old

My little one has a small amount of thrush in her mouth (4 weeks). Should I be worried? What should I do? Will it recur? I feel upset that she has something wrong with her. Thanks

    Are you breastfeeding?
You will need to treat the thrush in the mouth.
If you are bfing you will need to treat your nipples too. I used daktarin oral gel on my nipples so I didn't need to wash canestan off my nipples before bfing.
Don't feel bad. It is so common. X

Also make sure it IS thrush, and not just a milk coating.

    Are you sure it's thrush?
Only reason I ask is I mentioned my bubs white tongue at his 6 week check (4 weeks ago) thinking it was thrush, and was told it was milk tongue (or something along those lines) as they don't have much saliva to wash it away.
I was told thrush would also show on inside of cheeks, roof of mouth etc and would be hurting my nipples when feeding.

Definitely find out if it is thrush; my son went undiagnosed no matter how many times I told the MCHN and I had to stop bf'ing cos I had it on my nips and it hurt too much; skin was like tissue paper
