Yay for proper Af!! A dose of 75 is still quite high to start. I started on 50 for my very first cycle and after a few weeks and increases finally ovulated on 92. For this cycle they started me on 66 and after a week have moved me up to 82. I go back on Monday for another scan. I also did clomid and did cycles on 50mg, 100mg and 150mg all of which failed to even get me anywhere near ovulating. I don't have any insulin issues either.

Hopefully as you are starting at that dose it won't take as long for your little follies to grow!! When is your first scan?

I have a blood test on day 8, so next Saturday. Depending on my levels they tell me when the next one is and when to have a scan. I get all my blood tests and scans free through a clinic. They also show all my results to my specialist every time I have something done and get advice. Its a pretty good set up.

Where do you get your scans done? Do you have to pay for them?

My FS clinic charges a cycle fee which is $615. I pay for my medication separately and that's it. It's always interesting to see how different clinics and Dr's work. I go in for a scan whenever they ask and we just keep checking follie size. Last time I actually ovulated on my own so the trigger shot wasn't actually required. My scans and bt's are done at the fs clinic and I only generally see and speak with the nurses. Last time I only seen the Dr for my initial consult and then at my 8 week scan. Everything else is done by the nurses and they consult with the Dr if needed.

Love-Monkey I hope so too!!! Looking forward to hearing how you got on

Sops How'd you go with first injection? Are you doing them yourself?

Me: I don't know weather I listen to FS and think this is a 22 day cycle or stick to my normal 29 day cycle. What would you girls do?

    Hi,

Twisty - my first two injections have been good. No side effects so far. The one month clomid worked I felt really good with no side effects. I think my body actually likes having hormones in it rather than low levels! I give them to myself. I think I would be more nervous seeing my dh holding the needle. Why does your doctor think you've had a 22 day cycle? What day are you up to?

Love_monkey - how did your scan go?

Also do you girls inject all the shots on the same side of your stomach or switch sides?
