Default Learnt violence in kindergarten/child care centre

I am horrified to finally realise why my boys have been acting out to violently towards each other. No badly but enough that I'm not impressed because I have never exposed my children to such things including on tv. They are twins - 4. The other day one of my twins pointed out Ben 10...the only way he knows about this is from learning it off kids at Kindy. Then get this, he tell me they watch it at Kindy. I 100% believe him because I've seen the tv on before at the Kindy and mentioned it to the teacher, I've stupidly let it slide a bit on other occasions but I've never seen anything 'cartoon violent' on there. I know it's on ABC3 because I looked it up. The boys also want me to stop it on that Chanel when flicking to ABC2. This confirms they watch it at Kindy as the only other carer and DP and it's only ABC2 in this house. It is my personal feeling that the effect of this tv exposure at Kindy is completely unacceptable and am rope able that my kids are now acting like this. I also believe another factor in this is the after school age children, watching it and acting it out in the yard also. If they are going to mix 4 year olds with up to 12's they are failing in their age appropriate activities. They have not been sensitive to these young ones and exposure to this at their age.
    Pinged off to the max!

I'd be annoyed too. Could you speak to the director, and express that you'd rather they didn't watch this show... Are they at an after school care center? When I worked in OSHC, all of the children mingled in with each other, but usually kept to their own peer groups when playing or hanging out, and we didn't get too many older kiddies there.

I rang the Kindy to speak to the director, I left a message for her to call me as she was on the bus run. I never heard back. I also sent a lengthy email. No reply. How bad is that!? The boys were meant to go today but didn't and won't again.
