The active wear out there now is far from daggy. A lot of the LJ and Running bare stuff is really nice, pretty colours and styles. Gone are the days of grey track pants and an old T.

OMG $100 bucks for trackie pants? I just googled LJ active wear. It looks ok but I balk at the price.

Yeah it's pricey, but it lasts forever. I'm too much of a skin flint to pay that though lol so I buy off ebay for under half price. You be amazed the fantastic stuff on there, where people spent a fortune on new stuff, get bored with the gym within a month and sell it all

Hmm, yeah, I think I'll stick to my "lounge wear" or "farmer chic" for home and my jeans and a tee for out and about.

I wait for sales! They often have two for $100 on the cargo pants rather than $80 each

I wear this all the time and see nothing wrong with it. I only put my jeans on when going out, so live in cargo's/shorts/trackies at home. They don't *look* like sports clothes though.
