Default For those ttc after a miscarriage

I had my m/c in January and am back into ttc but I'm finding it hard to have enthusiasm. I feel so deflated and kind of like 'why bother? It will probably happen again' iykwim? Is anyone else feeling like this?

We lost our baby girl at 20 weeks in Dec and are just starting to TTC again. I don't have the 'why bother' attitude but am definitely petrified of going through it all again. Once I get pregnant I automatically have so much to loose, whereas not being pregnant sort of protects me.

Ive had 2 miscarriages in 8 months. I am apprehensive but excited about getting pregnant again. I had lots of bloods done after my last mc in Feb. Ive found out Im Vit D deficient. So Ive been researching lots and started my vit d supplements today. Apparently low vit d can cause mc. Im hoping my next pregnancy sticks. It will certainly be scarey.

Wishing you both lots of good luck and a sticky healthy bub

I'm still ttc and all, but I'm so half hearted about it. I think I'm just so scared about it happening again and, like you Kirst, I feel somewhat protected from the possible repeat while I'm not pregnant

I'm in the 2ww at the moment and it just has me so stressed because I so badly want to be pregnant but I know that when I do get a bfp I'm going to be a pessimist about it all and I'm so scared that I won't bond with bub til they're safely in my arms.

    Aw hugs xx
I had a molar pregnancy February 2012 and will be TTC in a few months.
Even though I always allow a big break between miscarriages and TTC ( have had 3 losses) I am petrified each time which is why I wait a while. The possibility of two or three losses in a year, well I wouldn't cope and I'm sure I would give up.
Once you get the all clear at 12 and then 20 weeks you will feel more bonded, I think before then it's to scary and hard to believe even after a 12 week scan.
But trust me you will be just as excited and your heart will flutter at the thought just as soon as you get that positive. I think you just get thicker skin and expect the worse though.
    Fingers crossed for you xx
