Default Multiple follicles... natual cycle? WHAT!??

Very confused... after my scan today. I have 8 follicles (5 about the same size 12mm) and no lead follicle. Which would be great if it were a stim cycle!
But it's a natural FET cycle.
Any experience of multiple follicles on a natural cycle?
    What does this all mean?
At least the lining looks good at 8mm.

When I did my FET they watch the other follicles because they have to time ur cycle with the age of the frozen embryo to know when to transfer. Does that make sense

    Thanks Bethy
Clinic just called. Est levels are skyrocketing 400 yesterday, 730 today. They didn't seem worried about the multiple follicles- all they want to see is a LH surge.

I think we naturally produce many follicles each month but once one releases an egg it tells all the other ones to die off and not release an egg. I think 8 seems slightly high but when I'm not in a cycle I think I normally have 3 each side so 8 seems reasonable.

    Good luck!
