Default Period 14 days late with pregnancy symptoms

Hi I was wondering if anyone has had a similar experience. I was 14 days late for my period then suddenly started bleeding and I was sure I finally got my period. I had had sore breasts nausea moody weight gain cramping for 2 weeks craving chips with mayo and tiredness. Now the strange thing is I've stopped bleeding. For a period that didn't come for 2 weeks I would have thought I'd bleed for longer than 6 days which is normal for me but now I'm barely even spotting now after bleeding heavy for 1 day. My breasts are still very full and tender so are my nipples and I still feel tired. Has anyone had this happen to them??

I got my Period with my first son two months in a row. Then with my third son I bleed for 2 weeks from 13-15 weeks.
It's not totally uncommon to bleed while pregnant have u done a test?

I'm going to do a test today then in a few days if I don't start bleeding again. I know I ovulated late because I was using opk's. I honestly hope so I have been having this slight jabbing pain on my right which feels like its shooting right down my crotch. We will see ill let you know how I go. X

I pretty much had a normal period which for me back then was sparse but accompanied with regular period pain.
With the late bleeding I was terrified as I had literally just had a scan an hour before I started bleeding and it was just light old blood for 2 weeks. I think it was because he almost died in utero. He had two large knots in his cord at birth and the doctors never picked it in scans and said he shouldn't have survived full term let alone past 20 weeks because of it.

Let me know how you go, if you ovulated late then it's possible your period was just late also. It's hard when you want something so much you think everything is a sign and we have to remember period symptoms are very similar to early pregnancy x

You need to see a doctor. It's possible you could be pregnant but there could also be another reason your period is late such as PCOS or endometriosis.
