    Default Bf after nipple piercing

So I know there is technically nothing wrong with breast feeding after having had your nipples pierced... But I have a question.

My right nipple piercing often got inflamed and I took it out 2 years ago. Ever since then iv gotten lymph/oil/white secretions from the piercing wound sites and from the middle of my nipple when I squeeze it... I know it's not infection and it's natural part of my body just healing/cleaning out the 'tube' (wound) but now I'm starting to worry that this is gross and might be bad for baby when bf... ? The left side is fine and doesn't do it, its just the right one

    Anyone had this before?

I took my nipple ring out 6.5years ago when I was pregnant with my first and I still get the white stuff. It's never gone away but I have successfully BF 4 children with no problem.

don't know the proper response to if it's officially "bad" or not.... but i had the same and my baby bf fine. i have to say though, that she never liked the pierced boob as much as the other one. and after a while (6 months or so) she stopped taking it altogether.
may not be the same for you though - so give bf a go! it's worth it even if you can only make it work for a while.

    Cool thanks
... Did you squeeze the white stuff out before each feed or just leave it?
I thought it might flush out a little once my milk came in?
