    Default Commonwealth bank interview tips

Does anyone here have any tips for the final group and one-on-one interview for a role at the commonwealth bank.
I have only ever done 1 group interview before so have no real idea what to expect.
The role is for a credit card specialist position working evenings so I assume there will be a big focus in the interview/role plays on sales. Has anyone does this recently or works for them and knows what may be asked?

    TIA.

I just did a group interview for a government job... as a group we had to do come up with a list of things we'd save on a boat and the selection committee watched us.
I know it's not specifically Comm Bank but role type would be similar so here's my tips.
    1) don't talk over anyone, listen to the person who is talking at the time (Shows that you will listen to customers)
    2) make sure you have something unique to say.... to some extent play the devils advocate but don't be a pain about it. (Shows lateral thinking)
    3) Acknowledge what other people have said by saying "that's a great idea" etc (shows positivity and being a supportive team member)
    3) if you have to nominate a group leader/speaker/scribe or something along those lines; don't necessarily offer to volunteer - suggest that you could share the role (shows that you encourage working in a team environment including others)

Nummm... i think that's it! I got the job so the above seemed to have worked for me

    Good luck!

The position I went for has a financial basis and I was worrying they would ask questions like that because finance is technically not my background. But at the end of the day all the interviews and screening had a huge emphasis on the type of person as opposed to the knowledge because they will train you in their products and sometimes that includes starting at the basics.
