well - as expected the specialist said I need surgery. actually I need 2 lots as its too much to do all at once.

for the first round will be in a cast for 6 weeks.

so no riding for a while now

Oh bugger. That sucks. What have you done?

Went to the doc for an unrelated matter and he had a look at my ankle while I was there. He wants to get an xray- I think it's rather pointless tbh. The physio is confident that there are no ligament tears and I very much doubt I would have been able to play soccer if I had done anything other than a simple sprain.

xray wont show ligament tears ... only bone - so yeah, sounds like it might be a waste of time and money.

Mine is a long term injury that I finally need to get sorted.

Means 6 weeks in a cast though Not being able to drive is a massive issue ... such a PITA

    I'm so proud of myself.

I usually play reserves (which on a whole doesn't bother me) but last week due to some girls being unavailable I was put in to play 1st grade. I was very nervous, I didn't want to be the reason that they lost. Feedback was that I did awesomely and the coach was very impressed, and I think I might be in to play 1sts this weekend as well (which again I am particulary nervous about because it's a very difficult team- golden boot winner).
